I have found G4s to be a bit unnerving in their silence. I mean, my home computer I've got several fans, making a normal amount of noise (read: not this new-fangled silent stuff, but what fans USED to sound like), a couple hard drives, etc. When I can't hear something go on, it bugs me. I have found balance with my work G5s. Of course, if you want to hear a loud computer, go find an Xserve. Our Xserve G4 sounded like a 5 horse Briggs and Stratton drove all the fans by chain. Our new Xserve G5 is pretty loud, but not nearly so. When I would be on the phone w/applecare getting parts replaced for that old piece of shit I'd have to step out of the room to hear.

“Go to hell, Senator, it’s time for you to take your final dirt nap.” - Nooooo, no, you got it all wrong, see. "Dirt nap", in this context, just means laying down for a short sleep without first taking a shower or anything. This is just a suggestion for John McCain to take up a little better personal hygiene and in is no way violent in nature. You people with your jump to conclusions mats!
