I'm very familiar with type 3s. This is like comparing a plastic spoon to a steam shovel......

...the 911 is stiff, but the real issue is that it requires all of your senses' full-time attention. It's also pulling about 3,000 revs at 75mph or so, which does sound beautiful, but the car is extremely loud. The steering is unassisted and light, but you are in the next lane with a flick of the wrist.

And unless your type 3 was modified to pull around 250whp, pretty sure it didn't worry you quite so much near the limit.
