Don't answer. It doesn't matter.

If a school bus stops and puts out the stop sign you have to stop and wait until the stop sign is retracted. It doesn't matter if it doesn't seem like a normal school bus stop--could be for a field trip. Plus kids are little and the bus might look empty on first glance.

I once almost went around a school bus because it appeared that the bus was empty but then I noticed a kid wearing leg braces was being helped off the bus. Then I noticed that there was a police car in the string of stopped vehicles behind me. Good thing I had the patience to stay put. That cop would have had me dead to rights.

If you think the school bus driver is in on some conspiracy with violationinfo.com to entrap drivers by randomly popping the stop sign, then you should get an attorney or a hire private investigator to follow Austin school buses around.
