Looked up projected lifespan and it’s about 40 years for them. Since pines tend to hold each other up, it was only gonna get worse. Four trees at around $800 each over the first several years and on the last one, we finally took our guy’s advice and had them removed one year for $2700.

They were actually here the same day that our plumber found a backed up toilet was caused by a sewer main incursion from the roots of a gorgeous cherry blossom looking thing out front. Tree guys didn’t charge for that one mercifully, massive with a huge stump.

“Don’t overplay. Don’t overplay. Less is more. It will always be: less is more. Nobody is ever going to remember all those fancy solos - even the guys that play them, most of them won’t remember - so play some licks that people can walk away humming, that people can identify with." --Steve Cropper
