I may rehang it, but the top edge sits 73-74” high or so, and sitting in front of the TV, you’re already looking up slightly. That’s the reason the wife loves my “mistake” and wants it to stay where it is, but I’d have preferred it dead center (because OCD). Got maybe 2” upward play I could work with, but two single gang boxes sit above the mount, so it may not be worth it.

Unfortunately, the advertised “center of tv” spot on the wall template doesn’t account for the VESA extenders raising that center slightly (or I didn’t read the directions carefully enough to find that mentioned). Just a forewarning if any of you ever hang a set this size; attach the bracket to the set *first* and find that new center before attaching the mount to the wall.

Fun working with dad on it though. Took us maybe an hour.

“Don’t overplay. Don’t overplay. Less is more. It will always be: less is more. Nobody is ever going to remember all those fancy solos - even the guys that play them, most of them won’t remember - so play some licks that people can walk away humming, that people can identify with." --Steve Cropper
