This company did the original install almost 20 years ago so I thought they would be a fair price. We've been in the house 22 years and yes things are coming due on that cycle. Roof is 20+ as well but so far looks ok and no leaks. My son, Brendan, is still going into mechanical eng just at a tech school with a 2 year associate program. It's a more hands on approach. His 1st class next Friday is welding and he is supper excited about it. When he finishes I want him to look at coming to the University where I work and looking at our new Engineering program. They are starting their 3 year and won't be accredited until after the first class graduates. It's a liberal arts degree in general engineering but I think with an associate degree as well he'd be well suited to do just about anything.
