...I used to be bothered by the idea, but then let go of my irrationality about it. Because every single firearm I've ever purchased has been through an FFL.
BGC, registration, prints, fee, etc. It's honestly no big whoop.
It's largest opponents are naturally the "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!!one!1!!" crowd who are literally dumb enough to think existing laws don't apply and all they need is to carry a copy of the constitution in their wallet (wish I was making this up).
I see no reason to not get behind UBC's. Anyone who is a responsible gun owner is ALREADY going through the background check process.
