it's why I rarely buy from the little shops. There's one local shop that is actually professional and doesn't have any visible politics related stuff. I'm sure if you get them talking it will spill over but I never engage on that level.

Gun Shows have been the worst, no shortage of "Hillary for Prison 2016" gear.

    Paul paid knowledgeworkers to transmit:
The politics is basically a given, which I suppose is understandable given the propaganda those guys must suck down daily but it’s weird here in the veritable capital of art and hippie/peace culture in the Southwest. The store I did the transfer through still had Obama gun memes taped up behind the counter and I heard a worker telling a customer that such and such was part of the “Obama ban.”

I told my guy I’d come from Maryland where the weapon I bought isn’t legal, he told me “welcome to America” on my way out.

Also, we got our drivers’ licenses when we got here, and my apartment is the listed address. It has to be current so I got a water bill (it comes from state gov) so I was cool and ten minutes later I was golden. Not a mental health check or anything... just a water bill.

    This country.
