Everything we do is software as a service, eg GitHub, Google Drive, etc.

Do you think Backblaze would work well for a laptop that isn't always on? I think any ideal solution would work constantly throughout the day, but not demand too many resources on her local machine that it interrupts her work.

If it comes down to it we can probably ask her to leave it on overnight for periodic updates, but we all take our devices home for the night and I assume that it's generally in standby in the evenings.
