I don't think this candidate needs to appeal to racists, but there is a sizeable population of independents in those battleground states that can turn the tide.

    Paul launched a war by saying:
    Polls are useless to me anymore. After 2016, I don’t put much stock in them, or at least what media try to say with them.

    I’d be more interested in polls showing how many voters would pick anyone but Trump, how many voters intend to sit out, level of voter enthusiasm (ie if candidate x is the nominee but you support candidate y in primaries, how will you vote ultimately).

    She can beat him. Biden can beat him. Sanders can beat him. Even Pete can beat him.

    If the suggestion is to run someone who appeals to racists and anyone who would support Trump, I again say it’s a losing strategy by a scared group of DNC types who just want their own grift to continue
