We went all RDP. The VPN will ONLY route RDP to the LAN, and nothing else......

VPN is split tunnel to keep their nasty home networks from trying to route through us as well.
With VPN, RDP, Certificates, and strong encryption I think we're pretty safe. RDP is a hell of a lot better than letting SMB route from a personal device.
