...once "their person" is in charge, it's all good. I believe they don't actually see any or refuse to acknowledge any hypocrisy because now said person with an R before their name will do it "right".

It's really tough to debate or hold a conversation with someone who's default position is "anything related to Libs/Dems is bad and awful by definition" and it doesn't help that key progressives or libs also issue the same smack talk back.

Not saying everyone feels the same way in said party, but I sincerely hope that the entire elderly voting block basically hears "yeah, I'm willing to just let you die so we can get the economy moving again".
