The Macbook trackpad feels nicer than my Dell, there's no denying that. But from a functional standpoint, I think the differences are so minuscule they don't even matter.

Like, in the world of computer pointing devices, my basic Microsoft Ergo mouse is an 8, my MacBook is a 5, and my Dell is a 4.9.

That said, my old HP's trackpad was like a 1, so maybe we're not comparing the same types of PCs.
