...mostly I get by on linked stories out of Twitter which are half and half. Some of the best stories I've read have been on medium, but you can't do reportage that way.
I'm happy to pay for it, just not the asking price. I think we got WaPo at $60 for a year, $48 for NYT. Both were promo offers and I won't renew at the other prices.
I will say that we have subscribed to the local paper since we landed here and I feel like people should really consider doing that. So much great journalism that directly impacts each of us is rarely going to be covered nationally
