I think my biggest worry is the fact-free media and mental world these folks inhabit......

Obviously there are a few exceptions, but in general, you just have angry people consuming media which insulates them from anything approaching truth or objectivity, yet insists it's the one true way (even as it changes its own narrative sometimes day to day).

Variously, it encourages them to be more racist (Tucker, Shapiro), more violent (Cernovich, McInnes), or just uncritical about obvious falsehoods if not completely mad conspiracy theories (Fox, OAN, just dozens more).

The last four months alone are astonishing in terms of the absolute people not only accept as fact, but are just willing to go the mat over. Bleach, lynching governors, masks, Fauci, QAnon, Ghislaine. It's just terrifying and it's why I just don't think we're gonna get past this as a country.

Voting for Biden is a step in the right direction but a third of the country believes with all their hearts that President Demon Semen/Alien DNA is on the level. And we are gonna fix that how?

“Don’t overplay. Don’t overplay. Less is more. It will always be: less is more. Nobody is ever going to remember all those fancy solos - even the guys that play them, most of them won’t remember - so play some licks that people can walk away humming, that people can identify with." --Steve Cropper
