    Sycraft scribbled on a napkin:
People are so damn whiny and impatient with it going on. Between just being higher stress in general, and not having things to do, so many people are much more demanding, whiny and impatient with things.

I see it both at work and at the HOA. One of the other directors has been really getting on my nerves lately. She's a nice woman, but she's gotten really complainy about things not getting done as fast as she wants. Of course there's really nothing to be done about that. Regardless of if her timeline is reasonable or not (I don't feel like it really is) it doesn't matter. I don't have any special pressure I can put on the property manager, and we aren't going to go and find a new company, we just did that like 5 months ago and it was a major PITA. We just have to accept that property managers aren't all we'd hope they are, and that we don't have a lot of money so we don't get to have everything we want right when we want it.

But she can't do any of the things she normally likes to do, like visit friends, so she's at home all day obsessing over the property. It just makes it a bigger problem than it would normally be.

Plus of course VOCID has slowed everything down.

“Don’t overplay. Don’t overplay. Less is more. It will always be: less is more. Nobody is ever going to remember all those fancy solos - even the guys that play them, most of them won’t remember - so play some licks that people can walk away humming, that people can identify with." --Steve Cropper
