do "we" pull the trigger on any number of knucklehead shootings that occur all over the nation on a daily basis?

This is obviously a knucklehead shooting. A complete piece of shit. The kid's dad lived there. He had every right to be there. It almost seems to me that this is all about failure of regular people to use regular words and common courtesy. If Zimmerman was all "Neighborhood Watch" and all, how come he didn't know who's kids had been in and out of the neighborhood? Because it sounds to me like this wasn't the first time the kid had visited his dad.

And how come the kid didn't simply explain himself? Perhaps the younger, more innocent 14 year old Treyvon would have simply explained to this self-appointed Neighborhood Watch Captain that he was here to see his Dad.

But perhaps the older Treyvon (worried about the "hardness" of his reputation in the eyes of his peers) decided he didn't need to explain nothin to no Pussy-Ass Cracker. I don't know. I'm just speculating.

But to say that "we" shot Treyvon (like it's official state policy) is absurd. An individual who had NO BUSINESS carrying a gun shot him. That's all that happened.

Again, I believe that it's simply too simplistic and reactionary to automatically blame the most powerful and prosperous country in the world for all the world's woes. Fuck, we're not even the most prosperous. Why not blame China? More new billionaires being created over there.
