We only have "rules" and "standards" in a farsical, cynical, manner. There is no standard outside of who you are in society and who you mess with. Police country wide are ruthlessly corrupt. Convince me that anyone should bend to their dynamic "rules" and "standards".
The "rules" and "standards" have always been different for the riff raff. Don't believe me? Take a look at this forum. You guys were happy to express faux outrage in the midsts of discussing how Trayvon might have avoided murder if only he had dressed "white enough". How about that Iraqi woman who was beaten to death last week? Maybe she would still be alive if she'd try to be more like a white American? Right? Convert to Christianity, adopt a European name, maybe bleach her hair, work on her accent.
As a country it's our inalienable right to demonize, demoralize, and paint minorities and the proletariat as subhuman. It's the first amendent gaurantee! But only for white people and capital. Not for the victims of racial and bourgeois violence. Then is the time for clear headedness and calm. Then we need to take in the whole picture and approach others and violatile situations with finess. But only then, right? As soon as this blows over we can go back to calling women who would like to choose when they get pregnant as murderers and whores?
So, I guess, you seem to support petty bourgeios violence as long as it reinforces your privilege. Just another who wishes to inherit and not affect any meaningful change what so ever. Only interested in rhetoric and justice as long as someone civilized, like George Zimmerman, don't get caught up in the fray.
