I can see how that would be frustrating, but that's sort of your rhetorical style. Which is why I said that's the way it SEEMS.

I don't think anyone's comments here fully define them as a person IRL, which is why everyone here needs to avoid bringing in ad hominem attacks based on personal things we've shared (or over-shared).

Let's not pretend that personal attacks have never happened. Not saying you do it--you generally confine your posts to direct responses based on what people write . But others do, and those attacks can get under people's skins. And they are never forgotten. And they lead to threads that descend into childish name-calling, endless butthurt and digressions away from otherwise healthy back-and-forth discussions of real issues and ideas.

I wasn't aware of some of the personal animus that seems to be boiling over in this thread, but I went back and looked at some older threads...yep there's some really hurtful shit happening, which I have called out above....
